Year 4 Explore Incarnation
In the Year 4 RE lesson this week, we explored the Christian concept of Incarnation, focusing on why Christians believe Jesus is both fully God and fully human. To deepen their understanding, the children worked in groups to prepare thoughtful questions about Jesus’ life, His identity, and the meaning of Incarnation in Christian belief. After preparing their questions, we welcomed Father Gordan into our classroom. The children took turns asking their questions, and Father Gordan provided clear, age-appropriate explanations, helping them develop a richer understanding of Christian teachings. He also shared examples from Scripture and church life to illustrate how the Incarnation shapes Christian worship and everyday living. The session encouraged curiosity, respectful discussion and active listening.
