Expectations
- We are in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment and uniform.
- We listen to staff, and other students and co-operate with their reasonable requests.
- We respect everyone’s right to feel safe, share opinions, enjoy and achieve.
- We follow our School Values and Christian distinctiveness.
- We are responsible for our own actions.
We have exceptionally high expectations of how our children behave and conduct themselves. This is underpinned by our school ethos. Our in-depth knowledge of our children and their knowledge of themselves enables the school to provide the appropriate support and challenge. This is achieved through using The Zones of Regulation (Information on Zones of Regulation) which enables children to recognise and act on their emotional state and be ready to learn. Our behaviour policy is underpinned by 4 principles, respect, responsibility, readiness and safety, which all children recognise and understand.
There are weekly ‘Attendance’ certificates for classes in Key Stages 1 and 2 and these are presented in an assembly in order to celebrate with fellow pupils and staff. There are also prizes for individual children with good attendance throughout the year and weekly school attendance figures are published in newsletters as well as the classes which attain the highest attendance. These are published in our weekly newsletter and in the ‘Achievements’ are in this section of the website.
Registration/lateness
School starts at 08:45 and registers are closed by class teachers at 08:50. Any children that arrive at school after 08:50 will be marked as late in the attendance record. Any child that arrives at school later than 09:10 will be marked as having an unauthorised absence.
Illness
If a child is unwell and not in school their parent/carer should call the School Office to inform us before 08:45. If we do not receive any contact from a parent/carer as to why a child is not in school then we will call home to check the reason for their absence.

Extra-Curricular Activities
We offer a wide range of free clubs that run both at lunchtime and after school. Our clubs are led by teachers and teaching assistants from the school and the Trust.
Please visit our club’s page for more information.
We also offer a Breakfast and After School Club that provides parents with the opportunity to drop their children off earlier, and pick them up later.
