Welcome to Rosherville

Headteacher Welcome

I feel truly privileged to lead such a warm and inclusive school community, where every child is recognised as a unique individual, created in the image of God, and encouraged to flourish. Our Christian vision, ‘The smallest seed can grow into the largest tree’ is inspired by the parable of the mustard seed and underpins all that we do. It encourages us to nurture even the smallest beginnings, supporting every child to grow into the fullness of their potential.

At Rosherville, our core Christian values of Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage are the foundation of our daily life. Compassion teaches us to care for others and build a community where everyone feels seen, safe, and valued. Wisdom helps us to grow in understanding and make thoughtful choices. Courage gives us the strength to face challenges, take risks, and believe in what we can achieve.

Following our move to our brand‑new, purpose‑built site at Cable Wharf, we are proud to offer modern, spacious learning environments, exceptional outdoor facilities, and dedicated provision for early years and SEND. Our new home strengthens our commitment to providing a rich, inclusive education and a culture of care, we strive to ensure that every child experiences a deep sense of belonging and is empowered to aspire, believe, and achieve.

About Rosherville C of E Academy

Rosherville Church of England Academy is a small, inclusive and welcoming school now proudly settled into its new home at Cable Wharf. Although our location has changed, our nurturing ethos remains the same, we may have grown in numbers and space but we are a close-knit community where every child is valued and supported to grow academically, socially and spiritually.

Our dedicated and hardworking staff team fully embody our vision, working together to provide rich, memorable learning experiences that inspire our children to flourish. We champion learning through collaboration, encouraging pupils to learn with and from one another, fostering fellowship, curiosity and mutual respect.

As part of the Aletheia Academies Trust, we benefit from shared expertise, collaborative professional development and strong community links that enhance our provision for children and families. Though we are a small school, we are well‑resourced and make thoughtful use of our environment to deliver a broad, creative curriculum that is engaging, hands-on and relevant. Children enjoy coming to school and are encouraged to become confident, compassionate and resilient learners.

Our move to Cable Wharf marks an exciting new chapter in Rosherville’s journey. The modern, purpose-built site offers enhanced facilities and expanded opportunities for our pupils to thrive. The relocation has been carefully guided by our Christian vision, ensuring continuity, stability and the preservation of our school’s strong ethos. With improved spaces for learning, play and community engagement, Rosherville is well-positioned to continue helping every child flourish.
