Headteacher Welcome
I feel truly privileged to lead such a warm and inclusive school community, where every child is recognised as a unique individual, created in the image of God, and encouraged to flourish. Our Christian vision, ‘From the smallest seed, a mighty tree may grow’ is inspired by the parable of the mustard seed and underpins all that we do. It encourages us to nurture even the smallest beginnings, supporting every child to grow into the fullness of their potential.
At Rosherville, our core Christian values of Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage are the foundation of our daily life. Compassion teaches us to care for others and build a community where everyone feels seen, safe, and valued. Wisdom helps us to grow in understanding and make thoughtful choices. Courage gives us the strength to face challenges, take risks, and believe in what we can achieve.
As we prepare to move into our new purpose-built site, our commitment to building a strong, connected community remains at the heart of all we do. Through a rich, inclusive curriculum and a culture of care, we strive to ensure that every child experiences a deep sense of belonging and is empowered to aspire, believe, and achieve.

About Rosherville C of E Academy
Rosherville Church of England Primary Academy is a small, inclusive and welcoming school situated in Northfleet, on the edge of Gravesend town centre. We are a nurturing community where all are valued and supported to grow academically, socially and spiritually.
Our dedicated and hardworking staff team fully embody our vision, working together to provide rich, memorable learning experiences that inspire our children to flourish. We believe in learning through collaboration, encouraging children to learn with and from one another, fostering a strong sense of fellowship and mutual respect.
As part of the Aletheia Academies Trust, we benefit from collaborative professional development, shared best practices, and wider community links that enhance our provision and support for children and families. Despite being a small school, we are well-resourced and make effective use of our space to deliver a broad, creative curriculum that is engaging, hands-on and relevant. Children enjoy coming to school and are encouraged to become confident, compassionate and resilient learners.
Looking ahead, we are preparing for an exciting new chapter in our school’s journey. In 2024, Rosherville will be relocating to a brand-new site at Cable Wharf. This move is being carefully planned in line with our Christian vision, ensuring continuity, stability and the preservation of our school’s strong ethos. The new site will offer enhanced facilities and expanded opportunities for our pupils to flourish further in a modern, purpose-built environment.
