LEGO Robots
In Year 5, students engaged in exciting hands-on learning by programming and creating LEGO robots in teams, designing them to compete in races. This collaborative challenge encouraged pupils to apply logical reasoning, problem-solving, and computational thinking while fostering creativity and innovation. Working in teams allowed children to develop essential social skills, demonstrating compassion as they supported one another, courage as they tested and refined their ideas, and wisdom as they evaluated outcomes and adapted strategies. Through this experience, pupils gained confidence, resilience and a practical understanding of technology in action, reflecting our school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded, reflective, and ambitious learners.
