Admissions to Apply for a Reception Place
Rosherville CofE Academy will relocate to a new site on the Cable Wharf development in January 2026.
This is the second revision to the opening date. The existing site presents a number of challenges in terms of space and capacity.
Prior to the latest revision of the opening date from September 2025 to January 2026, and in response to an urgent local need, the school agreed to take an additional 10 pupils into Key Stage 2. This has further accentuated this position.
The new school has been designed to accommodate a PAN (Published Admission Number) of 60 incorporating 2 forms of entry (2FE) however, initially the school will expand from the current PAN of 20 to 30 for September 2025. Further to discussions with KCC to ensure a common approach to place planning, the school will begin admitting a PAN of 60 as housebuilding in the area continues and demand dictates.
If you have not been offered a place following an application you will have the option for your child’s name to be added to the school’s waiting list. You will then be contacted if a place becomes available in the future and your child has the highest priority for it.
You are also entitled by law to appeal to an Independent Appeal Panel, against the decision not offer a place. The panel is completely independent of the school and the Local Authority. The deadline for lodging appeals is Tuesday 20th May 2025.
